Prince of Peace Lutheran Preschool is a Christian ministry of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Calgary and provides quality programs for children ages 3 to 5 years old. We are currently seeking applications for a Preschool Teacher who is able to join our existing team and supports our Christian program. The position is part time and would begin September 2012.
Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
• Providing for the safety and well-being of each child
• Preparing and implementing lesson plans
• Encouraging and assisting children to comply with daily routines and rules
• Communicating with parents
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial legislation.
Qualified applicants shall have, or be near completion of, at least a valid Child Care Worker certificate, a current First Aid / CPR Certificate, and must submit a Security Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check done by local police.
